The chopping surface is constructed of sustainably harvested teak wood cured in natural beeswax food-grade wood polish. The end grain cutting style used in creating the boards is easier on the knife and has the ability to self heal after being cut into. The roomy board is large enough to handle any cutting or chopping task. The inlaid handles allow the cutting board to be easily moved from the counter making it useful for a variety of functions such as a charcuterie tray， serving tray or just to move the board out of the way if something is on it.
