Carlisle Trac Chief Tires
The Carlisle Trac Chief is an all season tire made for industrial vehicle applications.
The tire promotes a secure performing ability. The stronger internal structure helps to protect the tire from external damage, while the high void ratio of the tread avoids stone retention. The construction resists off-road damage, such as punctures, cuts, tearing, and impact damage. The tread design, on the other hand, allows the tire to prevent rocks from lodging between the tread elements. This combination allows the tire’s safer application on work-sites, as it offers better damage resistance.
The ideal tread design features a rugged lug pattern that optimizes the tire’s surface contact while the vehicle is in motion. In this manner, the tire is able to upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability while the tires are in motion. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This ensures the driver’s better control over the vehicle throughout its performance.
The reinforced internal structure also boosts the load durability. This construction keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure throughout the performance. As the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, it is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads, significantly improving its load capacity. This enables the tire’s heavy-duty applications on industrial vehicles.
The Carlisle Trac Chief protects the rims from damage. The stronger sidewall structure and its optimal design guard the rims from accidental damage.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertized represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to TireMart by the tire manufacturer.
